Just like Fergie makes the boys go crazy, DJ Licious makes the crowd go crazy with her upbeat variety of music. Being a female in a male dominated industry people often take her as a gimmick. She's NO gimmick. Knowing when to take it way up and when to bring it back down, since she's pursued her DJing career, one thing remains constant -
DJ Licious never fails.
Though she credits an ex-boyfriend for taking her out of the spotlight on the dance floor and putting her behind the turntables, she owes her late father for introducing her to the different styles of music. Licious keeps the crowd going all night by playing classics, as well as the songs that reflect her personality - upbeat and fun. Her entertainment background also plays an integral part in making the evenings everlasting. She's been a dancer her whole life, so it's easy for Licious to recognize if the music is moving the dance floor or if it's completely wrong. "I play music as if I'm out there, myself, getting my dance on," the Jersey Shore girl explains.
From her first residency in Seaside Heights, NJ to past venues such as mur.mur in Atlantic City and out of state gigs in Staten Island, Newburg, NY and Jacksonville, FL just to name a few, to her current residencies, Licious is making quite a name for herself up and down the East Coast. It is only a matter of time until Licious ventures elsewhere and shows she is the duchess of the turntables.
